2019-20 Budget Approved By Voters

The Hoosick Falls Central School District 2019-20 Budget was voted on and passed on Tuesday, May 21st. Voters approved Proposition 1, the budget, by a vote of 298 yes votes to 114 no votes. Proposition 2, the bus proposition, also passed with 308 yes to 101 no votes.

The district says thank you to everyone who came out to vote on the budget. The district greatly appreciates the community’s support. We value the opportunity to continue to provide our students with a quality educational experience that challenges them both academically and with extracurricular programs.

Additionally, three board members, Joseph Patire (322), Andrew Beaty (286), and Rachel Boisvert (291) were reelected for a three-year term.

The passed budget increases the tax levy by 1.36 percent while still maintaining a high level of academics and support for students.
