2019 Capital Improvement Project

Project Vote is March 13th

Hoosick Falls community members will vote on the capital renovation project which will improve safety, make the school more energy efficient, bring technology up to date, and create a better learning environment for Hoosick Falls’ children. Watch the Project overview video to learn more.

The project will be split into two propositions.

Proposition 1 will address safety items, energy/HVAC improvements and building renovations and will cost $16,758,941.

Proposition 2 will include alterations to the science classrooms and labs, Media Center and Music Department alterations, auditorium improvements and cafeteria and kitchen upgrades and will cost $5,286,879.

Proposition 2 is contingent on the passing of Proposition 1.

It is important to remember that 82.4% of the project will be funded by New York State

Project Vote is March 13th
Polls will be open 9am-9pm
Vote held in the High School

Voters must be: United States citizens, at least 18 years of age, and residents of the district for at least 30 days prior to the vote.

If you cannot be present to vote on March 13, and would like an absentee ballot, please call the District Office at (518) 686-7012, ext. 1600. Completed absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5 p.m. on the day of the vote, March 13, 2019.
