Paul Baker started at Hoosick Falls Central School District as a custodian in July 1990. In 1995 he was promoted to head custodian. In July 2010, Mr. Baker was appointed as a provisional Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. He was appointed as permanent Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds in September of 2014.
Mr. Baker is a 1983 graduate of St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls, New York.
Mr. Baker has always been active in the Hoosick community, from umpiring Little League to coaching Youth Basketball. He has been with the North Hoosick Fire Department for 25 years, and has been a fire coordinator in Rensselaer County for 12 years. Mr. Baker has also sat on the board of the Hoosick Falls Country Club.
Paul enjoys spending time at his camp on Hedges Lake, as well as fishing and hunting. In his free time he also plays golf, hikes, rides his snowmobile, and does woodworking.
Mr. Baker lives in Walloomsac with his wife Laurie. They have been married for 31 years and have two kids, Joe and Amanda.
