Dear Parent or Guardian of Hoosick Falls Central School Students,
As we begin another exciting school year, I invite each and every Hoosick Falls family to make a difference in your child’s education by joining the PTA. Our PTA in Hoosick Falls is active throughout the school year. We provide support to our school and community in many ways such as open houses, Fall Festival, Family Fun Bingo, Tiny Tim gift shop, Appreciation Days, food co-op, character education, special groups and events as well as direct financial donations to each grade level, and much, much more!
As a member of the PTA you:
- Receive valuable member benefits and discounts to providers such as T Mobile and Southwest Airlines
- Have access to a discounted subscription to Parenting School Year, a new edition of Parenting Magazine
- Become part of the results in making positive changes in Hoosick Falls Central School
- Show your child how much you value their education
Joining is easy! Simply fill out the membership form, enclose the $5.00 membership fee within an envelope labeled “PTA”, and return it to HFCS with your child. Within a very few short weeks, you will receive a welcome letter with the meeting schedule and your PTA membership card.
The PTA meets once a month and you are welcome to attend. However, joining the PTA DOES NOT obligate you to volunteer at school or attend PTA meetings….although we hope you will!
