Andrea Bearor has been teaching at Hoosick Falls Central School for 8 years. She began her teaching career in Northern New York along the Canadian border. She has 13 years of teaching experience in many elementary grade levels. She has spent the last 7 years teaching sixth grade social studies, which she has found suits her very well.
Mrs. Bearor’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Speech Communication from Potsdam State, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix, Arizona.
In addition to teaching, Mrs. Bearor is part of the APPR Committee, co-advisor of Photostory, second-vice president of the union, and a volunteer Buddy Club mentor.
Andrea enjoys many interests and activities. She loves reading and often finds herself reading several books at a time. She loves spending time at her camp with her family, boating, hiking, running, and taking the dogs for swims and walks.
She lives in Cambridge New York with her husband, 3 children, 2 stepchildren, two dogs, and two cats.
