Jennifer Borge is currently in her 15th year as a special education teacher for Hoosick Falls Central School. She began her educational career as a program director for a daycare center in Brunswick, New York. During this time, Jennifer attended college in the evenings to pursue her Master’s Degree in Special Education. Miss Borge taught 4th and 5th graders at St. Joseph’s-St. John’s Academy in Rensselaer, New York prior to teaching here at Hoosick Falls!
Miss Borge’s education began at Russell Sage College with a Bachelor of Science in Education/Psychology. She continued at Sage Graduate School for her Master’s Degree in Education.
Miss Borge believes strongly in giving back to the community. She was a girl scout leader for several years. She also supervised a student teacher in her inclusion classroom and currently proctors a computer based reading program a few mornings a month.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys snuggling up with a good book and watching her daughter play field hockey and act in the drama club. During the summer, Miss Borge attempted to broaden her green thumb skills through gardening.
Jennifer recently bought a home in Troy, New York, with her fiancée and 15 year old daughter. Their family also includes their two, four legged children; Kora Belle Sue and Madeline Marie!
