Mrs. Leslie Green was born and raised in Michigan and lived there for 24 years. In 1985, she moved to Petersburgh, New York and has resided there for the past 30 years. Prior to starting her career as an elementary teacher, she was a travel agent for two years. In 1983, she received her BA in elementary Education from The University of Michigan. A few years later, in 1988, she received her MS in reading from the State University of New York at Albany. Her 28 years of teaching experience has included 6 years in fifth grade, 7 years in fourth grade, and 15 years in second grade. Her entire teaching career has been with the Hoosick Falls Central School District.
Mrs. Green has had the pleasure of singing with HFCS faculty members for various school functions. She has also had the privilege of being part of the pit band for many drama productions at HFCS. When she is not teaching, she enjoys playing the piano, oboe, and English horn, singing, traveling, Zumba, and spending time on her family dairy farm.
Mrs. Green lives in Petersburgh, NY with her husband David and daughter Rachel.
