Lisa Bundrick has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University at Albany, State University of New York, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Plattsburgh State University of New York and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Adirondack Community College. She holds her New York State permanent certification as a School Social Worker for grades K-12 and her license in New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Mrs. Bundrick also received a Certificate of Completion in Field Instruction for social work field instructors from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
Mrs. Bundrick, a school social worker of 12 years, is currently serving her 10th year as the Elementary School Social Worker in Hoosick Falls. As the school social worker, she offers individual, group and crisis counseling interventions, functional behavior assessments and behavior plans, classroom social skill lessons, staff professional development opportunities/consultations, parenting support and referrals to agencies outside of school.
In addition, Mrs. Bundrick is a member of the school’s student support team, RTI Committee, Wellness Committee and a co-facilitator of the Friends with Character Club for students in grade 5-6. Mrs. Bundrick is an avid supporter of school social work and has been involved working with professional organizations to support the need for school social workers in schools.
Mrs. Bundrick is a published author of numerous publications relating to school social work and of children’s literature and enjoys writing in her free time. She is the mother of two children and a dog. Mrs. Bundrick is married to Mr. Bundrick, the 7th grade Math Teacher in the high school.
