Mrs. Grant is a reading specialist for the Hoosick Falls Central School District. She began her teaching career here during the 2007-2008 school year. She provides reading instruction for first, third, fourth, and fifth grade students and enjoys the opportunity to work with a variety of different grade levels and students.
Mrs. Grant completed her undergraduate work at The College of Saint Rose where she completed a dual major in Elementary and Secondary Education with a concentration in English. She also received her Masters’ degree through The College of Saint Rose with a focus on Elementary and Secondary Literacy.
Mrs. Grant has always been involved in athletics and played sports through college. She is an active High School Girls’ Varsity Basketball Official and has been an official for over ten years. She is also a certified ASA Girls’ Softball official and has officiated Girls’ High School Softball for over ten years. This year, Mrs. Grant decided to help coach her daughter’s ASA softball team and enjoyed watching the girls participate in her favorite sport!
She lives in Lake George, New York with her husband Michael, and her three children, Daniel, Kayla and Avery. They have a cat named Josh who was rescued from a local cat shelter and a dopey, dog named Moose. The Grant family enjoys time in the Adirondacks, camping, hiking, and swimming.
