3rd Grade Students Release Butterflies

Students in the third grade at Hoosick Falls Elementary School have been studying life cycles. As part of their lessons, students obtained larva and took care of them until they grew into butterflies. Students took care of them, feeding them sugar water, and building “box cages” for them to live in. Students did scientific observations throughout the process, including the release process on the playground.
