Last week, our fourth-grade students wowed their families and special guests with their recorder concert and research project presentations. View the video of the concert below! Make sure you watch until the end, as 4th-grade teacher, Mrs. Katie Brownell, honored our Music Teacher, Mr. Ray Connolly, with a heartfelt speech as he is retiring at the end of this school year. We were so fortunate to have Mr. Connolly here at HFCS for 30 years! Thank you, Mr. Connolly, for all you've done for the students and community! Fourth-grade students also enjoyed 'Colonial Day' last week, where they rotated through the 4th grade classrooms to participate in activities such as quill pen writing, a scavenger hunt, butter making, and spy letter decoding.
