Getting ready for the next big adventure!
Before school ended, our fourth-grade students had a chance to learn all about life in the middle school as they prepare to move up to fifth grade this fall. Elementary School Counselor Mrs. Shea and Middle School Counselor Mrs. Sacks visited each fourth-grade classroom to answer questions, discuss middle school routines, schedules, and expectations, and help students feel ready for this exciting transition.
Students also watched a special video featuring current middle school students sharing what they enjoy most about middle school before learning which House they will be joining as part of our Middle School House System. To wrap up the experience, students visited the fifth-grade classrooms to get a firsthand look at where they'll be learning next year.
We can't wait to welcome these students to the middle school this fall. Congratulations, future fifth graders!
