During the visit, students learned about the coevolution of Earth’s atmosphere and biosphere, as well as the extinction of non-avian dinosaurs. Ms. Dansin shared that students found it especially fascinating to see fossil evidence showing that some dinosaurs had feathers. The Doctor will be here to start sports physicals for the next school year on 5/6/26, 5/20/26 and 06/03/26. If you would like your child to have a physical, you need to email Nurse Conte no later than 05/08/26 and let her know that you would like your child to be scheduled for a physical: contej@hoosickfallscsd.org
If you do not choose this, then you will need to schedule your sports physical now as fall sports start in August. If your child does not have an updated physical( 08/2025 forward) by the first practice then they will not be able to participate.
If your child needs to update their concussion test it will be in their email between July-August 2026.
Sign-ups on Family ID will start around: 7/22/26 for JV/V sports and 7/27/26 for Modified sports
Physicals must be completed by a licensed healthcare provider and should be dated within one year prior to the start of the school year. Physicals should be completed on the NYS Health Form. Please submit a copy of your child’s physical examination form to the school health office as soon as it is completed.
Parents/Guardians must use Family ID to sign their child(ren) up for sports. Visit our athletics site for Family ID.

Voters must be a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age, and a resident of the district for at least 30 days prior to the vote. We will welcome National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) VT for Family Voices on May 6 and 19, featuring stories told in-person by Chip and Judy Siler (President and Vice President of NAMI VT) about supporting family members living with mental health conditions.
