The Hoosick Falls -Tamarac v. Taconic Hills football game scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to the weather. The Wildcats will now play at 6pm this coming Monday, September 11 at Tamarac High School.

Twenty-eight new students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society on Wednesday night. Students are chosen based on five main criteria: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character and Citizenship. It's finally spring and our kindergarteners have some baby chicks! The chicks have been incubating for the past couple of weeks and they are now hatching and the kids love it! So far, there are four chicks with a few more to come. The first grade also have eggs in the incubator, those chicks will be hatching soon! Here, some of Mrs. Fallova's students watch over their new baby chicks.

The 34th annual Questar III Juried Art Exhibit took place recently and one of our art students, Keira Chapman, took away an honorable mention for her work! Chapman's work, a digital drawing, is titled "Fish Ahoy." Two other HFCS artists, Codi Frier and Jordis Harrington, also had pieces in the exhibit. The segment will air on Wednesday, May 17 on the 6pm newscast and be online the next day. It will also air on Saturday morning during the weekend newscast. Make sure you set your DVR!
