The elementary school would like to send a big "Thank you!" to Heritage Family Credit Union, which made a very generous donation of 25 boxes of supplies to the elementary school teachers. Branch Manager, Heidi Sweet, said that they wanted to start the year off right and welcome the teachers and students back to school. MacKenzie Sprague and Jim Martinez came on the afternoon of September 3rd and delivered the boxes to each elementary classroom. Heidi Sweet and Jim Martinez came back again on September 30th, to deliver more student supplies that were donated by employees and HFCU customers. Thank you for supporting our students and the community!

Dr. Yudkoff's Guitar Club is off to a great start this year, with students in grades 7-12. Playing bass are Zavier and Matthew (learning); lead is Sam and Thomas with Cameron on drums; Andrew, Hunter and Ashton play rhythm.

The International Club (grades 9-12) had its first tasting this week. The first country they learned about was China, and they cooked egg-fried rice, and a student brought in egg rolls. Dr. Ambigay Yudkoff is the club advisor and shared these photos as well as a little more information about the club: "The purpose of the International Club is to promote cultural awareness and global perspectives within the Hoosick Falls CSD community through food, music, and other aspects of culture." If your high school student is interested in joining this club, please have them reach out to Dr. Yudkoff!
